At CRID Publishing, editors are at the heart of our commitment to academic excellence, transparency, and innovation. We work with a distinguished group of scholars and professionals who serve as Editors, Associate Editors, and Section Editors for our multidisciplinary journals — especially the Journal of Research Innovation and Development (JRID).

We invite experienced researchers, faculty members, and domain experts with a proven record of academic publishing to join our editorial team and help shape the future of global research dissemination.

Editorial Roles and Responsibilities

Editors are entrusted with the following core responsibilities:

  • Editorial Decision-Making: Manage the peer review process and make decisions on manuscript acceptance or rejection based on reviewer reports, scope, and ethical standards.

  • Reviewer Coordination: Assign qualified reviewers and monitor timely and constructive reviews.

  • Quality Control: Ensure published articles meet academic standards for originality, structure, scientific rigor, and referencing.

  • Ethical Oversight: Uphold the highest standards of publication ethics, including addressing plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and authorship disputes in line with COPE guidelines.

  • Strategic Development: Recommend special issues, editorial policies, or thematic focus areas to enhance journal visibility and impact.

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance to early-career authors and reviewers on best practices in research and publication.

Types of Editorial Roles

Depending on expertise and involvement, CRID offers the following positions:

  • Editor-in-Chief
    Leads the journal’s vision, oversees all operations, and ensures alignment with CRID’s mission.

  • Managing Editor
    Handles manuscript workflow, coordinates with authors and reviewers, and supports journal logistics.

  • Associate Editors / Section Editors
    Supervise peer review in specific domains (e.g., sustainable development, public health, economics, technology).

  • Guest Editors
    Manage special issues or thematic editions on emerging research topics.

To be considered for an editorial role, please email the following to: editor.publication@cridglobal.org 

  • Full Name and Title

  • Institutional Affiliation and Country

  • ORCID iD (if available)

  • A short bio (100–150 words)

  • CV (with publication list or editorial experience)

  • Preferred field(s) of interest

Our editorial committee will evaluate your application and respond within 7 working days.
